Kritsa is a village 6 miles south west of Agios Nikolaos. Just before you reach the village boundary you will see a white wall with parking facilities in front. Behind this wall lies The Church of Our Lady at Kritsa which contains the finest and oldest of frescos you are ever likely to see. A definite must-see. Local buses pass by. The book contains 93 pages full of photographs and descriptions of the frescos.
